Our foundations are specifically formulated to create a natural barrier against the elements, without causing irritation to your pores. If it doesn’t serve your skin, it’s not in our product!

Let’s use an example: Michelle Doan, founder of Emani Vegan Cosmetics, uses the Perfecting Crushed Foundation as part of her daily routine and it lasts her anywhere from 6-12 months, depending on how much coverage she needs that day. For our pressed and liquid foundations, each bottle should last between 3-6 months of daily use. We do recommend that you replace all of your makeup products every 6 months to ensure that your makeup continues to look and feel its best.

We suggest that you apply our liquid foundations with our Duo Foundation Brush. In order to apply pressed and/or crushed foundations, we highly recommend using our Duo Face Fan Blender Brush or a make-up sponge for fuller coverage.

Emani cosmetics glides easily across the skin for easy application every time. We’ve included ‘How to Apply’ instructions on each product page to aid you in makeup application should any questions arise. Through our customers and personal experience, we have found that only the Crushed Foundation Powder has been challenging for some to apply. However once our customers know how to apply it, it’s easy! To apply, simply tap a small amount of the foundation into the lid of the container then swirl your foundation brush into the cap. Tap any excess powder thats on your brush back over the lid, then sweep across the face focusing on circular blending motions in order to achieve a flawless and natural look. The best tip we can offer is to pick up small amounts & build your coverage. This foundation powder is truely excellent for the most sensitive skins & boy does it give great coverage!

Although Emani products are good for your skin, we recommend that you use a really good moisturizer every morning and night as part of your skincare routine. Apply moisturizer prior to your morning Primer & makeup application and allow your moisturizer to completely absorb. Not only will a moisturizer allow improved adhesion of Emani makeup for longer wear; Emani makeup will also lock in the moisture for lasting benefits by creating a physical barrier on your skin.
